Introducing Minx & Jinx

Minx and Jinx are a product of my imagination + vintage Barbies + a ton of teeny tiny accessories sourced through Etsy. Their basic backstory is that they represent two California-based field researchers with PhDs in the environmental sciences who met at a National Science Foundation Women in Biology symposium on the West Coast in the early 2000s and have been buddies ever since.

Minx is known for being effortlessly chic with a sardonic wit; Jinx has a history of messy hair and a tortured love life. They are both Hot Girls Who Read, stimulated by nerdy topics and endeavors.

Ruthlessly honest with one another yet fiercely loyal, they do whatever it takes to keep the faith – something that proves exceptionally challenging in the middle of a post-pandemic climate crisis and rampaging fools with guns.
